Other books which you might like to look at to find out more on these sorts of things include:
'Rich Christians in an Age of Hunger' by Ron Sider
'On Human Worth' and 'Christian Justice and Public Policy'by Duncan B Forrester
'Issues facing Christians Today' by John Stott
'The Rise of Christianity' by Rodney Stark
This is now quite an extensive reading list - I hope nobody thinks they have to read all of these before they go out there in the big wide world and actually do stuff!
If anyone wants to comment on any of the books mentioned here, feel free to do so...

An Inconvenient Truth (Al Gore's documentary about climate change)
Goodbye Bafana (dramatises Nelson Mandela's prison story)
In My Country (drama re South African truth and reconciliation process)
Bread and Roses (a drama looking at migrant worker exploitation)
If anyone wantst o add to these lists, feel free to do so! |
